Mundaun: three cable cars for a peak

In summer, the ski area between Obersaxen and Lumnezia is a hiking area with a myriad of changing views on the Vorderrhein Valley and to Piz Terri.

The three peaks, Piz Mundaun (2064 m), Hitzeggen (2112 m) and Stein (2172 m) are all accessible by chairlift from Cuolm Sura (Surcuolm) Triel (Lumnezia) and Wali (Obersaxen). Hiking on the ridges between the mountain resorts, towards Piz Sezner Bündnerrigi or leading to the historic mountain inn offer particularly sumptuous panoramas. The lower train stations are accessible by hiking bus.

Piz Mundaun, panels installed on the new viewing platform indicate the name of the surrounding peaks.
